Take a chance on Taking Lives

Taking Lives is a very unique film, in that it's unbelievably predictable in certain ways - to the point of being ludicrous, in fact - but the high predictability is actually, I believe, an intentional (and highly effective) choice of of the film-makers. A lot of the critics who are panning this film seem to be missing that point.

I can't say much more without giving important details away, so let me just tell you that Angelina Jolie gives a superb performance here, and the other lead actors serve the project with great potency as well. If you're a smart movie goer who can generally see things coming a mile away, this is a film you will most likely enjoy.
