Rogue's Review:Don't read the book
"Runaway Jury" succeeds because you don't see the 'real story' coming, and up until that point you're so entertained by the ridiculous court shenanigans, particularly at the sheer audacity of John Cusack's and Rachel Weisz's actions, although Hackman holds his own with supreme confidence and Hoffman doesn't let us down either. When the 'true' story is finally revealed, it makes sense and you don't mind having been played by the writers because at least they did it with style. (It would help if you haven't read the book first.)
