Rogue's Review:Wicked funny
This is a much better Sandler vehicle than the Big and Little films ("Big Daddy" and "Little Nicky"), more on a par with his earlier, funnier stuff, even though some token violent scenes are unnecessarily included. John Turturro steals the film hands down with his hilarious Spanish butler characterization, and the good thing about Sandler is that he KNOWS Turturro is stealing it and he doesn't care, in fact you can tell he's enjoying the opportunity to let a brilliant actor shine. (He and Turturro have much better chemistry than he and Winona Ryder, who does the best she can with basically a thankless role.) I personally would have kept the 40 billion myself, though.
