Rogue's Review:Believe it or not, this works
"Sweet Home Alabama" owes its charm (and workability) to the sheer charisma of Reese Witherspoon, who appears in nearly every scene and manages to be thoroughly captivating, completely believable and totally in control in every single one of them. The rest of the cast is excellent as well, particularly Josh Lucas, Mary Kay Place and Ethan Embry. While this is basically a no-brainer, as everyone has made clear, it's still good, clean downhome fun. And I'M from New York City.
