Rogue's Review:Hilarious
Wanda Sykes is a supremely clever, original and incisive societal commentarian. There's no such word, commentarian, I'm told at dictionary.com, but there should be because that's what she is, more so than a 'mere' comedian.
She's a fearless performer who comes off smelling like a rose in spite of her naughty-word-heavy material - she never seems crass or trashy, no matter what she's saying. In this special, she covers all the hot button stuff - politics, sex, homosexuality, abortion, racism, sexism, etc, etc., and she does it brilliantly, in her own inimitably edgy style. Definitely worth a watch, maybe two.
